How to Clean Tape stipes

Hi everyone, i have been reading, for a while. I have an 05 stang with the black racing stipes that are just tape. I am having a hard time cleaning them, they look like they have water spots on them. Is there a way they can be cleaned easliy with out destoying them? I did not want to paint them on until i purchase my new front clip, and rear bumper.

Well, definately do not use any type of buffer. I would get a mist and shine detailer, just make sure that it is safe for vinal. I believe most are, as they have never damaged any trim or plastic of mine before.
