how to convert my 5.0 into mass air

I have a question I'm trying to convert my 5.0 into mass air I got the air meter harness and the computer and the air meters. Now the air meter harness have 4 wires the red goes on the power on the computer harness do I have to cut that red wire power that goes to the computer harness and then connect it in to the red wire from the air meter harness or do I have to peal the wire a little it and connect. please any body have pictures and instruction

my harness came with instructions.

you need to relocate some pins in the harnes plug

but do i have to cut wires and then splice them or just splice them with out cutting
