How To Cut A Hardtop Door For A T-top Or Convertible

A bit more info.

When cutting the frame, I got it down to a simple set up. When cutting the rear frame by the door lock, you’ll see where the metal drops down a small amount. That’s where the factory made the cut. Pics below are the uncut hardtop and factory t top. Just smooth the edges when done.

When cutting the front frame by the mirror. The cuts are just about 4” on the vertical side and about 4 1/2 on the angled side. It’s all covered by the front and rear run channels so it doesn’t have to be exact.
