Well, 'draining' it is not a simple procedure. If you try, you most likely will have ATF all over you/your driveway, etc. The best method I've found is to use a MityVac type suction device and remove all the fluid in the resovoir. Then re-fill it and drive for a day or so. Repeat the process a few times until the fluid looks nice and red.

1. Remove the return hose from the P/S reservoir and plug the reservoir from the place that you removed the hose from.
2. Insert the return hose into a catch container.
3. Start the engine and fill the reservoir with new fluid.
4. The old fluid will flow through the return hose into the catch container while you are pouring new fluid into the reservoir.
5. After enough new fluid has cycled through the system, stop the engine.
6. Reconnect the return hose to the reservoir. That’s it.

:nice: Sounds easy enough!
