I have a 1969 Mustang Coupe. Ive had it for over ten years, but am only now getting serious about fixing it up. I'd really like to find out if the motor is original or not. The guy who I bought it from said it was, but I'd like to know for sure. I've been told there is a number somewhere on the motor that is also located somewhere on the car. If these two numbers match, then it means one has the original motor. Is this true? If so, where can I find these numbers? If this isn't true, how may I go about doing this?
