how to get 275/50s on the car (quads)

ok i got some convo pros. 15x8.5 and today i got some 275/50 hoosier quicktime pros

wondering if you could flip the quads around and if they would fit. i have heard of people doing this. if not would it be ok to remove the quads???

these are some meaty tires and will hook nicely. will it hurt me with no quads??

I have 275s under my 5.0 on 8.5 inch rims with 5.5 inch back spacing, flipped the quads, they fit fine.

What is the backspacing? If they are 5", just bolt'em on.

Should put the outside of the tire right at the edge of the wheel lip. You'll have plenty of room on the inside. Roll the wheel lips.

They should fit fine with quadshocks.

i have 17x9 03 cobra wheels and 255 tires and i had to flip the quads, if i were to go bigger i know it woulnt fit

I have 275-50-15 BFG Drag Radials on Convo Pros, with about 3/4 coil cut from the rear springs and they fit, except that they rubbed on launches on the right side a bit.

I think I have the 5.5 in backspace. I ended up rolling the fender lips, and put an air bag in the right rear.

Hook is great, looks nice too.

i got them mounted on the rims and they bolt on fine, with the quads in stock position, got like 3/4 inches of clearence, and doesnt even come close to the fender.

It's one of my 6 foxes, but it could be your's for only $6k

Sizes are same as being discussed, 15 X 8.5 Centerline Warriors w/ 5" BS and 275/50 BFG's. Fronts are 15 X 7 w/ 5" BS and 225/60's.

I have weld draglites 5.5 backspacing w/ M/T drag radials in 275 50 15's, and I have to take the quads off. No sure if I will have to roll the lip.
