Man im actually shocked at the mileage you guys are getting.
Im pulling at 17-19 mpg city and 24-24mpg highway. shifting at 3k from 1st followed by under 2500rpms 80% of the time. Yes I record my date, mileage, and gallons filled every time i fill my tank. BTWI have 164k on my car.

Im getting better MPG than my previous car, a ford tuarus LOL

ok, i will change the fuel filter. and how much are underdrive pullies? i was also thinking of in aobut a month getting an O/R pipe, will that help any?

Ohh i have never changed the fuel filter before where is if located? and are there any write ups about chaging one?

all you need is a screwdriver...its located right in front of the gas tank. i did mine in the parking lot of the autozone i bought the filter from. takes two minutes.

oh and make sure you have your tires inflated to the right PSI, i put mine a 32 down from 44 which they put when i go tmy tires mounted, and i picked up quite a few miles from that. right now im getting 18-19 city driving and have been for a month, i use to get 15-16 before that.

Maybe my car is a freak but i get about 250-275 miles to a tank.. i fill that bitch ALL the way up with 92 and shift at 2000-2500..

But i also heard that its better to drive it around town at the RPM with the best Tq.. someone was saying not to drive around town at a super low RPM cuz your motor has to work harder and dumpin more fuel in when your not using it.. (Thats just what i heard and thats how I drive) IMO do that fuel filter, and get rid of your cats.. that will help..

The only thing is that when you do more mods like exhuast at least for me, i will rev up alot more to scare them ricers away.. hahahahah JK

Hahaha yeah that could be a small problem, waste more gas by scarring the ricers.. becasue of your exhaust..

Use 5W-20 when you change for best mileage.

The increase in fuel economy from using 5W-20 is negligible and it doesn't protect engine parts as well as 5w-30.
