I need to remove the chrome ornament behind the door on my 66. I have no idea how to take off the panel on the side to get to it though without completely destroying it. Could somebody tell me how to do this so I can get to the nuts on the back of the ornament.

Don't know if you have coupe, fb, or vert but basically the same...

Remove the rear seat and back. Remove the screws holding the panel in. You need to simultaneously pull the panel out, up and forward as you have to clear the quarter window roller, lip at the quarter window, and the headliner.
