Little history,
My 88 was a 4-banger at birth. After I blew that up I put in a 351W, carbed. Yanked most of the BS that was needed for the Speed Density set-up (most of the plugs are on the main harness, but no fuel injection harness is left.

What is the bare minimum stuff I need to go back to fuel injection for a 351W. As I see it I need a different tank and pick up (sumped and gutted the old one)
New fuel lines (have braided, not sure if they will sustain pressues for FI though)
intake, injectors, regulator, air intake/filter, injector harness, computer, 02 sensors.....

what else am I missing? Ay suggestions on where to get all of the parts, and ideas of how much it might cost. I was going to get the Edelbrock EFI system but the price jumped from 2100 to 3500 for the 351W's. Not looking to spend that kind of cash on changing over.

find your self a wrecked v8 car, and get everything from the tank to fuel rails.
You'll probably need atleast 24lbs inj for the 351 tho, and a walbro 255 wouldnt be a bad idea.

Moved to 5.0 Tech.

I have to second the donor car idea, so you can get everything you need in one shot. That, or you could look into a stand alone system (Accel DFI, Megasquirt, AEM, etc.) to get you the desired results of EFI and be a step ahead, since you'll be able to fine tune your combination, as well.

j/y will have everything you will need...
ACT, ECT, BAP, 351w dist., serpentine belt setup?
Probably more that I'm not thinking of though.

Most of this stuff can be found on any v8 Ford/Mercury...
