How to hook up aftermarket fuel rails????????

i just installed the probe industries efi spyder intake. what a pain in the a$$. now how do i hook up the aftermarket fuel rails. what is in? where does it go? what is out to the regulator? i am lost. can some send me a diagram or pic? i think i got all fittings. picked up the in line regulator today. . so i should have all parts. or where can i buy a kit with the lines already made upthanks for any help. joe joeyd0730@aol.com

Feed line to a Y fitting feed each rail. Out the front to another Y fitting. then to regulator and another line back to tank

I use -6 steel braided aeroquip line. Y fittings from Magna Fuel. Regulator from Aeromotive

I like to run a Y fitting in the feed line, feed the rear of each rail, then run 180 degree fittings out of the front of the rails back to the reg which I mount on the rear of the intake, then run the return line out the bottom of the reg using a 90 degree fitting and back to the tank.

This is assuming you are running aftermarket lines all the way back to a sump or cell.

If you are running stock lines you need a little different set-up but it is not hard to do...

yes, i am running stock lines from the spring fittings in the lower engine compartment. i got some 90's and some 45's but no y's. how can i hook it up without using the y's. speed shops here in queens ny are horrible, everything is a ission to buy. is there a drawing online or something? i appreciate all the help, i have a aeromotive regulator, has 2 fittings on side and one on bottom.

thanks rick, i have the spring firring for the stock lines, how can i hook it all together without the y? starting from the feed line all the way through the rails? from what to what? and where do i end? i never dealt with aftermarket rails. joe

they are from coast high performance, they are 1/2 id. came with the spyder intake.

you can feed the front of the drivers side, make a line to connect the rear of the rails, bring a line out the front of the passenger to the reg then make a line to hook the reg to the stock line.

I've seen it looped in the front but it is not easy and take up a lot of room in an already busy area.

thats a big help rick, now my reg has 2 side ports and 1 bottom port. i think the bottom is the return to the tank. do i just plug one of the side ports?

lol...after doing a bunch of lines you get the tricks down, still bleeds when it pokes you though

A 32t hacksaw blade, make sure you clean the lines really good when your done or it will clog you filters, inj or reg. Tape the line up real tight with some elec tape, cut right in the middle of the tape, put some oil on the fitting and slide it on the hose, put some oil on the threads and tighten them down. They had cutters out but I was told by a rep at Russell that they go dull VERY, VERY quick.

I use Aeroquip softjaws in my vice and alum AN wrenchs so they do not get damaged or scratched.
