Guys/gals,

I have to change out my injectors next weekend. My question is how do you get the fuel/pressure out of the rails in order to start replacingthe injectors?

Thanks!!!

Unplug your gas shut off switch in the trunk and then run the car till it runs out of gas. (a few seconds if that)

After you release the pressure on the rails, just unbolt the rails and lift them up. The injectors just slide in. Make sure to put a little vasaline on the new orings.

use some rags to catch the fuel when you quick disconnect them. pull the injectors out with the rails and them seperate the injectors from the rails. spill the gas wherever you want. vaseline.top and bottom.

I have never relased the fuel presure on any car I have ever worked on.. if it makes you feel beter you can run it out of gas after tiping the fuel shutoff switch.
