How to install a radiator support to hood gasket?

I have a new rubber gasket that goes on top of the radiator support and mates with the bottom of the hood when it is closed. I have never seen one installed. Anyone know how it is positioned and how the stainless staples are used? A picture would be ideal but words will help! Thanks.

I did mine by hooking the lip over the rad support. Drilled 1/16" holes through the top, the rad support and the bottom lip, stuck the staple in and used channel locks to pinch the ends closed underneath. Repeat every 4-5" across.

Tim, thanks for the pic. I was thinking that the gasket was stock and might not require drilling. What you did looks great though and is certainly secure enough not to come off and get tangled up in the fan someday.

When I removed the one on my car a couple years back it was screwd on with very small sheetmetal screws. I lost the screws so I will just go to the hardware store and get some new ones. For some reason my new seal didn't have any hardware like staples. Oh well, I say just screw it.
