Hey bros I was interested in purchasing the crystal clear foglights from Mustangtuning.com but I am not sure how to take off the stock ones and install the clear ones. Anyone help me out? How difficult is the install?

I woulndt imagine it would be more than 3 or 4 screws/bolts. I just installed a set of factory fogs on my sisters xterra and it was one bracket on each side with 2 bolts. Just stick your head up there and look.

I have not installed new fog lights yet, but I have taken one of the fog lights out. It wasn't too hard. I suggest jacking the front of your car up. There are 2 parts to the fog light. The light itself(not the bulb) and a black plastic piece that holds it in place. The whole thing comes out. There are two screws that hold it in place. I think they are torx heads. Just take those two screws out and unplug the wiring harness and its out.

On my '03, it was three screws; two on top and one on the bottom, and were hex heads and not torx.

Mustangmike23, check out "my mods" page from the link below. I changed my fogs to the clear ones, and I have a short write-up on the experience.

Just to note, the factory fog lights attached much differently on the '94 to '98 Mustangs from the '99 to '04 Mustangs.

There should be 2-3 screws, you'll probably have to jack up the car though. Mine's lowered, so it was necessary, but it would make it much easier if your car isn't lowered anyways.
