If anyone could help me by explaining how to replace the ignition switch in the steering column it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Hm...I am not sure. Whatever it is that the key goes into. Mine is having problems turning and often gets stuck. Curious how to replace it.

hey Bill, sorry to dig up a VERY old thread....but i just googled this thread and found that part of the manual very useful. i'm hoping you're still active around here and can let me know where you found a proper shop manual (not a cheeseball haynes or chiltons). Perhaps there is one downloadable somewhere?

thanks in advance and again, sorry for digging up a rediculously old thread lol

I found my Ford Service manuals on eBay. There's a PDF version floating around, but I couldn't tell you where to find it.
