jack the car up, and take off the crap that will get in the way (wheel, maybe even caliper and the like) then put a jack under the control arm until it starts to lift the car. unbolt the 3 bolts that hold it and and swap them... very easy, just go slow and watch that spring.

The only problem you may run into, is the nut on top of the strut. If you can get these nuts off, then this is a very easy and simple job.

Usually these nuts require an impact gun of some sort to spin them off. The shaft will spin with the nut if you try with your wrench/wratchet.

As said above you will need an impact wrench to loosen the nuts on the top o f the strut - I went to a garage and they loosened them for me at no charge.
Then drove home. Put the car up on stands - at least the front of the car. Remove the front wheel, caliper and rotor and dust shield. Take a breaker bar and loosen the 2 bolts that hold the strut to the spindle - just loosen them.
Put a jack under the ball joint of the A arm and jack up the A arm until the car starts to lift off the jack stand. Now remove the nut on top of the strut. Then slowly lower the strut with the jack, until the tension is out. Make sure you haven't moved the jack stand. Now remove the 2 bolts that attach it to the spindle. Install is the reverse of removal.
I still had to rip through the strut dust shield, and use a pair of vice grips to stop the strut from turning to get the top nut off.

helps a lot to have an impact gun.
