How to make lowend power?

Right now stock gt vert
After i get this thing running decent (have stupid new problems every week)
I want to build up my aode.
After that where should I like for good lowend-midrange power?
Would a trick flow h/c/i kit provide good lowend or is it high end?
I need something streetable and daily driveable but also want to see the track once a month. I dont really have the money for this for a while but I'm bored and want to plan it now.

A h/c/i will generally move the overall power band higher in the rpm range. However, it will also GREATLY increase overall power, including low-end. The amount of HP you gain up top may make it feel like there's not as much low-end, but it's worth it IMHO.

That being said, if you don't have gears already, they are without a doubt the best mod to increase torque. Otherwise, a well thought out h/c/i package can deliver some mean torque as well.

Any combo is good on the street if you keep a stockish cam in your 94/95. Cam will be where you make or break these cars on the street.

If you want a lot of low end, stick with a long runner intake like the performer, select the cam WISELY, get long tubes, add a lot of gear to the car (4.10's would be a minimum IMO), etc.

Another good option would be to look into something like a kenne bell. It will provide a ton of low end, they are great on a daily driver, and its work VERY well with your aode..

Yea if you have the money, then a Kenne Bell, or a turbo will put out a lot of torque. But it sounds like you might have your heart set on N/A, and I don't blame you.

Like Grady said, LT's will help with torque especially. Basically, when selecting your h/c/i, just don't go too big. Especially with the cam, the bigger you go, generally the more top end power it's gonna make. You can call Ed Curtis, and talk to him about cam selections for lowend power, he'll tell you what's what.

Compression is also your friend if you want a lot of low end in an NA car.

so far I'm happy with how my car is rockin' off the line.. 4.10's, rebuilt AODE, shiftkit, convertor.. then other boltons.. but the tranny work really woke it up.

In an auto, gears and a good stall converter will do more than anything else. For a heavy car with stock heads, keep the stock intake and port the lower. If you intend on going h/ci/ in the future, then a Cobra/Performer are the thing to buy now.
