what is the best way to paint a gt40 manifold for paint?

i guess if it isnt too bad, do some wetsanding to get it all smooth, but if there is paint to remove completely get some "aircraft paint stripper" or whatever its proper name is lol..

I wound up just sanding mine down it and cleaning off all the dust from sanding it and mine is still sticking pretty good, only have a few chips from putting it on

If you just want to clean the dirt and oil off it and it's aluminum, throw it in the dishwasher.

I don't recommend doing this but if you do make sure the wife/mother will not be home for a few days.

Clean it good with degreaser and then prep it like you would anything else.
