I was wondering how hard it would be to remove my fender badges. I always get the question why they are backwards and figured I would just sitch them. I already have a pair from American Muscle and if I can do it myself I will but if I gotta pay a shop then screw it, ill leave them.
So what do I do to pull the old ones off without dammaging the paint?

not fishing line... to big... Use dental floss, and then clean off all the glue with rubbing alcohol. its really easy.

You could use 3m stripe and woodgrain remover too, but you dont need to. Floss and alcohol worked perfect for me. You dont need heatguns and crap.

floss works too, but its weaker then the fishing line, you only have to use like 5lb test, and it will not hurt the paint.............

Hey Bill I did on the GT for the rear emblem. What seemed to work best was taking a hair dryer after and heating up the adhesive, than use floss to peel it off

Yeah dental floss and I used a heatgun. Came right off. Then I had a friend that works at a body shop had some stuff to take the leftovers off.

I just used a hair dryer and my fingers. Once the area was hot, I just peeled the emblem off with my fingers, then rolled the remaining adhesive off with my thumb. Took all of 2 minutes.
