How To REMOVE Ford Emblem, Trunk?

I have a 2002 GT. For the Ford emblem on the trunk I know it has 2 prongs on the backside. Does it also have adhesive, or is there just those 2 prongs holding it in place?? And what is the best way to take it off? And to put it back on, does it just pop right into place?

they have adhesive on them. i just pryed them off, cleaned the area under the emblem and stuck the new ones on.

Use a blow drier to melt the adhesive. Then use dental floss to "cut" through the bond, and use goo gone to clean it up.
