How to remove front windshield decal?

As pictured below, I have the SALEEN decal on my front windshield and it's slowly peeling as I'm doing constant car washes to keep my car clean. I plan to replace it with a brand new Saleen decal, but how do I remove the current one? The guys at Chicane Sport Tuning said that the decal won't come off easy, but as I peeled part of the "L," it seemed to come off like a sticker? I didn't peel it all the way, but is that all I have to do to take off a decal? Or is there some other special technique or tool I have to use?

Razor blade + WD-40.

Adhesive remover also works well.

just peel it off, if you can't get the glue off try some googone or if you have some acetone in your garage that works also.
(just don't get any on the paint)

if you are a careful person heat works the best. I have removed hundreds of those decals and a heat gun and applying it a little at a time will get the glue loose then you can peel the letter back in one piece. Then windex will remove the residue.

razor blade and windex, not wd-40. Be liberal with the windex

Hmm...im sorry but I find it funny that you have to post a thread, asking how to remove a sticker LOL. If it started peeling THEN RIP IT OFF lol. If there is anything left then use a razor to scrape it off....man your not going to hurt anything, the sticker is going in the trash afterwards....just get in there and do it. BTW it should be a vinal sticker....they shouldnt tear apart.

Thats what I was just thinking lol. If you are then im SORRY lol...I was thinking you were a guy and was like man....whats with this dude. Scared to pull his decals off for an unknown reason. But if your a chick then it changes everything, girls want to make sure things are done right and dont want to take chances. I can understand it then.

I have done this before. Slowly peel it off and use a clay bar and soap and water to remove any glue left on the glass. You can use window cleaner as well.

Some of you must not realize that some of these decals are hard as hell to get off. They tear into a million pieces and are a big mess to get off. The last one I took off (FFW or NMRA), I got off with WD40 and a plastic razor blade.

There's nothing wrong with making sure you do it right the first time and checking to see if you are using the right tools. The right tool makes all the difference and asking someone who has done it before often helps.

The only thing here I would disagree with is the WD-40, that seems like it woud be too messy. I would use Windex if it was me.

Thanks again for all your advice. I'm sorry about making a thread on how to remove a sticker. I just know that these stickers can't easily be taken off so I seek the advice of people who have done it before so I don't screw up.

Supplies:
Plastic sheeting (like a dry cleaning bag or even Saran Wrap will work).
Spray bottle filled with soapy water.
Razor blade

Spray the decal surface generously with the soapy water.
Cover the decal with the thin plastic sheeting. Smooth out any large air bubbles to ensure decal/sheeting contact.

Let it sit for 5-10 mins.
Try peeling the decal.
Repeat process as needed, it will soften the adhesive.

This is the easy method to remove window tint also.

You can use the Clay Bar on paint and glass. I used it on glass to remove a sticker and even overspray.
