The brackets on either side that bolt to the lower control arms - on the driver side, the round piece through which the e-brake cable is routed curls downward, away from the bolt holding it to the LCA. This allows easy access to the bolt.

On the passenger side, the e-brake slot curls upward, blocking access to the bolt. The only thing that can get on it is a wrench, and there's no room to put any leverage on a wrench. It needs an impact, but it would have to use a swivel, and even the swivel by itself won't fit in there, much less with a socket.

Anybody had this problem? If so, how did you solve it? Only conclusion I can come to is a new, better bracket and a cut-off wheel.
