Hello Gents,

I've found that the crank on my 87 was sleeved in the past.

It has some wear marks on it so I'd like to replace it.

Any suggestions on how to remove the old sleeve without damaging the crank?

Thanks,
Greg

Thanks much. Turns out it was not sleeved prior. Engine still in the car.

I got the sleeve and new rear main crank seal installed and everything back together and all seems well. Car runs good and no leaks so far.

Used a timken sleeve and timken rear main seal.

Big project, replaced lower intake manifold gaskets at the same time, all new exhaust front to rear, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, new motorcraft fuel pressure regulator, clutch components, steel transmission input shaft bearing retainer, throwout and pilot bearings, release fork and pivot stud, amongst other things..
