In preperation for my supercharger, I need to remove my steeda underdrive pullies and replace them with the stockers. I had a performance shop in my area install the pullies so I am not sure how to do it. Can anyone help me out here with some instructions? Thanks guys!

The opposite of the way you put them on.

well, most of it is pretty straightforward. An impact would be beneficial, especially for removing the alternator pulley. It is a PITA without one.The waterpump pulley should just unbolt. You will need a gear puller for the crank, most autoparts stores will let you borrow one.You should do all of the above with the belt on, so the pullies aren't spinning freely when you try to loosen them.

Well he might not have been joking and ment if you had a shop put them on have them take them back off.

But to answer your question the Crank and water pump pullyes are not usally the problem. The alternator on the other hand can be a royal bitch! My advice is just take the whole thing off and strap it in a vice. I put the rubber part of my strap wrench around the pully itself so I didnt f up the groves. Then just remove the with what ever big wrench you have. Good luck -Kevin

Impact takes only a few seconds, and you won't screw up anything.

Why put the old pulleys back on because of going to S/C?

Also you will need a pulley puller to get the crank off.

Mine were on to much to leave it on the car! Like I decribed above I had my inpact gun on it at 120psi (guns is ment to handle 90psi) and it still didnt move at all even with liquid wrench being sprayed on every ten min.

GTvert01...I love your avator.

Kah9911...you have to have the stock pullies on with a supercharger. Can't have smaller pullies.

70stangcoupe...PM me (don't want to get in trouble for selling something in a thread)
