I plan on cleaning the MAF this weekend, and with the installation of an h-pipe and cleaning my intake I want to reset the computer and have it re-learn the fuel trims of the car. I've searched, and can't find anything. I don't have the original owners manual to the car, and I heard it has to be done in a semi-specific way, can anybody that does have one tell me how to do it? Thanks in advance!

i guess you could leave the battery unhooked for a few hours... maybe overnight... just press the brakes after you disconnect it.

Well I know how to reset the computer, just disconnect the battery and press the brakes for awhile and/or leave a door open, then reconnect. I meant what's the proper procedure for driving the first couple of miles, to make the car re-learn the fuel curves correctly and such?

leave the battery off for a good 30 mins...that always does it for me and I never have touched the breaks to pull the power out....but thats a good idea!

Oh and when you first start it, let it idle for about 15 minutes and then turn the AC on. And then start driving it...try to put it through all possable situations. And you can go WOT, but its going to be ALOT slower the first few days. I know my car used to loose a good 20HP and would slowly regain it everytime I drove it. Would take about 3-4 days it seemed before everything was back to normal.
