I finished up most everything on the split port swap in my girlfriends car but the car just barely sputters because I have no idea where to set the cam sensor. Does anyone know how to do this short of buying the tool from Ford? Thanks!

Go to the ford parking lot, pop your hood, and ask very nicely to use theirs?

there should be no reason to set the cam sensor. all it does is plug in. i would look someplace else for the reason of the sputtering.

i just read my post...it seems kind of ass-ish. it really isnt its just friendly advice, really.

Yeha its hard to get emotion across in a message forum. I know I can come across as an ass on forums too sometimes. Someone else said that it shouldn't matter either but it really does seem to make a difference. There was one problem though, the vac line to the regulator had a crack in it. Fixed that and it idles now, but it idleslike it has a .550 lift cam. lol. Somone also said I woldneed a chip to run this engine. Is this right? I don't see why I would... whats different really? The heads and intake are different and some sensors, but I don't see why the PCM would have to be, if I set everything up like it was on the '94.
