i am going to be gettin new leather in my 92 drop top, but i cant seem to figure out how the rear seat comes out? i got the part where you sit out but cant get the back part out,( the one that supports your back). anyone have a diagram or instructions on how to do this?
At the bottom outboard corners of the seat back are two 7/16" head bolts. You will kinda have to pull up on the bottom corners to see them. Pull those bolts out and I believe that the seat will slide down and you can remove the back.
All it takes is a ratchet, extention and 7/16" socket.
There are also some bolts up at the TOP that you might run into; don't bother with them as they only hold the metal seat track in place and NOT the seat.
