How to tell GT vs. GTS

That's Why I'm Here!

Thanks for the correction :D

It's good to learn all this new stuff, I really thought that power options weren't available for the GTS

As my ex- would say, "Kien Probleme" (German for 'No Problem') :D . As I said, it depended on which dealer originally invoiced the car, along with what part of the country it was. Being a Florida car, my car lacks a rear window defrost (Dumb, Dumb, Dumb, like FL doesn't get cold enough at night to frost windows, DOH! :stupid: ), a really nice feature since I've moved back to sunny Washington state!

Another easy way to tell a GTS is the non-leather steering wheel and no map pockets on the door panels. The seats will be cloth but the seat design is the base V6 as opposed to the sport-articulated GT seats. The above mentioned illuminated vanity mirrors are another cue.

My GTS came with optional cruise control and rear defrost. The rear spoiler is a dealer added 3 post unit. I have added a FRPP leather wheel & 2000 GT seats.

I will say a cool thing with these is that you can add most of the GT option easily. All the wiring is already in place.
