Im sure some of you guys have done this before, how can I wire my fog lights to operate independently of the headlights? As in beain able to turn them on by themselves or with the parking lights. Any auggestions appreciated.

Use a volt meter to figure out which wire from the headlight switch to the fog light switch gives power when the headlights are on (I don't remember off the top of my head), cut it, and splice into constant hot (solid red wire I believe) going to the headlight switch. Mine work fine and have had no problems with overheating, blowing fuses, etc. This also puts the strain on the larger hot wire coming from the fuse block instead of the smaller wire from the headlight switch. I checked the current and everything is good. If you other guys are having problems with blowing the switch or fuse than you have some other problem.

You are correct. When I was in college I was flying over "THE" Mississippi River bridge in BR and ALL lights went out on the car. You GT guys better upgrade the electronics. SCARY!

oh man! i know what you're talking about! i used to have a 91 prelude si that actually could haul some ass... it had the pop up headlights, but one night i was being stupid and doing about 230km/h, i was just finishing passing a semi, when the headlights decided to flip down. it was pitch black, and i couldn't see a thing. honestly, it was like closing my eyes at 230km/h. not fun at all. so damn scary.
