Howdy, new guy here with 1985 GT Hatch.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone. I just purchased a 1985 Mustang GT 302 with a 5-speed. This is my 3rd Mustang, the first one being an 84 GT hatchback 302/5 speed I had in college. The last mustang I had was a 2007 GT/CS. I'm looking forward to being part of the StangNet community and reading through all the great resources here!

A few more details. The car has an Edlebrock RPM Performer Air Gap, Brodix Aluminum cylinder heads, BBK shorty headers and I am told has an Anderson motorsports N41 cam. The car has a nice lumpy idle and pulls pretty strong through the gears. The previous owner replaced the original 7.,5" rear axle with an 8.8" and 3.73 gears however, the car still retains the factor four lug disc/hub setup. The interior is in excellent condition. Future plans include a 5-lug conversion. Subframe connectors, Maximum Motorsports suspension components, and K-member. I'd like to do coil overs but need to educate myself more. Will ride quality suffer from coil overs versus springs/struts?

And here is the 2007 Mustang GT/CS I sold a few years back when I got married. I regret selling that one! It had full BMR suspension except for the K-member which I was about to do. I put a Roush 2.3 TVS supercharger on it and was making 495 rwhp.
