by stage 2, you mean the VT stage 2s? Would it be better to get something in a lower rpm operating range? Like previously stated, i'm NA right now with x pipe, flows, 3.73s. A SCT xcal/strategy flash handheld is on its way. I'm also looking around for some longtubes.

How do your cams compare to the VT stage 1 cams? And 293 is a nice number for just some cams, tb/plenum, pulley, catted x pipe/cat back. So if i switched out the pulley (going s/c in future) for some long tubes and catless mid pipe, i should just be over 300hp, correct? Whats your car run in the 1/4?

My cams are like VT stage 2 with more lump :) I love my cams. I used to run 13.5 1/4 with 1.8 60' before cams . After the cams done I havn't ran good at the track cause I change my hole suspension with KYB AGX ADJ shock , struts and quads, BBK LCA and making my car worse cause I cannot seams to dial in with my adj shocks struts.

This saturday I am going with different tuner cause my tuner cannot seams to tune my car right. I even put svt focus pump and still it's lean .

The tuner I am going this saturday is well know here in vegas for his awesome tune and his name is dyno dan.

With the right tune and suspension dial in I should be running 13 low to 12 high. I use MT ET Street with stock wheels when I go to the track.

You should be over 300 or around with LT and off road x pipe :nice:

you should replace them with a new cam, why not you are in their besides you'd be pissed if say 2-4k miles after you install the cam you screw them up too.

My understanding has always been replace the springs and retainers with new cams

those cams won't work with stock pistons, you have to get them notched
