I dunno if its the same as the t5, but on a t5 its on the passanger side, twards the top. You need a pump to pump the fluid in. The local auto parts should have one that will screw on to the top of the quart container.
There will be a plug on the side of the tranny. It will be a round plug that you put a 3/8 rachet extension into. Just take it out to fill it up. It usually helps to have a fluid pump. (You can get one pretty cheap at any auto parts store.) It aqbout 3 quarts of GM Syncromesh to fill it up.
Mine has a pipe plug on the RH side that uses a 9/16" wrench to remove. Remove only the top plug if you want to add fluid. I use a funnel & about 4 feet of gargen hose. I stick one end of the garden hose in the filler port and put a funnel on the other end. Then I sit down on the passeger side door sill and pour the fluid into the funnel. Hold the funnel up as high as you can get it to finish draining the fluid out of the hose and into the transmission. I pour 2 3/4 quarts, put the plug back in, and I am done. The bottles have a view strip on the side with markings that make it easy to see how much is left in the bottle. A catch pan helps to reduce the mess from spillage
not sure if i was taught right, but if it is like a t-5, like they said there will be a fill whole.. my tranny teacher said a simple way is to take off the shift boot, and ****er and just drop the fluid into there...
before u pour unbolt the bolt on the outside near the top, and have a friend tell u when it starts to flow out of the whole.... thats what i've done and works great....... if thats bad, someone let me know~!
Through the top where the shifter is. You'll have to re seal the the shifter plate, but its sure a lot less hassle from the top then doing it from underneath. Once you take the shifter off, you'll understand what we mean. You just pour it right down through the linkage.
