Hey guys, i am currently having a dual exhaust added onto my 88 LX. It comes off a race header i had with 2.25 inch exhaust tube back to two Dynomax mufflers then out the back...my question is how much HP will i get from that i know its gonna be small but just curious. Thanks

Is this on a stock engine? And why are you adding a fuel cell?

The stock fuel pump should be ok. However, if you feel you need a bigger one, go with something like a 155lph or so.

I would think the 190 would do but you could go 155 and I don't think being bigger would be a prob but the 155 should be fine, as for the duals I have heard 20-25hp for a complete system headers to tips but that could be off plus you are talking V6 so likely less but sound alone is a good enough reason to swap IMO.

Ahh OK, that's what I was thinking.

Well, I wouldn't expect 20-25hp from a catback and a header. More like 10hp.

I did a complete 2.25" exhaust and ranger header on my car, I estimate 5-10hp gain.

I should note this is on a wore out stock 4 banger. When you do additional upgrades, the exhaust will supplement them and deliver more power.
