Hello,

I have a 93 LX 5.0L and I am installing a V-1 Vortech supercharger on this car. Its a long story, but a lower intake bolt broke off on the driver's side head and I now have it drilled out and ready to re-install back on the car. It is a factory E7 head and I bought the Fel Pro gasket for replacement at AutoZone.

Is this a good gasket? Under the new-found power, would this gasket hold up? Also, what are some other key factors in re-installing the head? Does anyone have a thread with pictures on this? What is the best thread sealant for the water jacket bolts? Any input would be much appreciated!

Here are my current mods (after the head is done)

MSD blaster coil
Edlebrock Perf. RPM II Intake (upper and lower PORTED)
65mm Accufab T/B
Lucas 48lb Injectors
Vortech V-1 Supercharger (9lb pulley)
Electric Fan
Underdrive Water pump pulley
200 AMP PA Performance Alternator
Upgraded Batter cables
Programmed MAF air sensor (larger than stock)
K&N Filter
BBK Headers, H-Pipe (no cats)
Flo Pro Mufflers
Ford Racing 9mm wires
POWER PIPE - Ford Racing

Any clue or guess as to what HP I will be making???? Just wondering!!!

I will not run the Blower until I have upgraded my stock 88lph fuel pump.... Would this pump hold up? Should I get a 190 or 255????

I'm not familiar with the autozone intake gaskets. I use the Felpro 1250. However, since they are felpro they should be fine.
As for the fuel pump get the 255 "high pressure" pump. The one you want is the Walbor GSS340.

Get a 255 intank should be fine with just that.Maybe 350 at the wheels depending on the tranny. Whats the part number on the fel-pros that will help.
