So, anyone out there taken a shot at repainting the 66 style hubcaps? I'm trying to find a slick and easy way to mask the chrome areas for painting the black and gray. I need something that is very thin and can form curves. Like the way they do flame jobs. What do you call that stuff and were can you get it?

It's called Frisket and you can get it at any hobby shop. Comes in liquid and low tack paper form. Airbrushers use it all the time. You can also use Vaseline and wipe it off after you are done painting, but the frisket mask would be better and more professional looking. I use the vaseline for the hard to get or real curvy areas and only on real small areas.
