Ok, so i got a complete engine harness, injector harness and computer out of a 91 mustang for practically nothing, so while i had my 87 all taken apart we decided to convert it to mass air using those harnesses. So after we got it all back together i read a few posts on here saying that this would not work.
So now i have a problem since i have it all in and together. When we key on, the fuel pump does not prime and we cannot figure out what is wired different in the 91 harness in relation to my 87 dash harness. The one thing that we did notice is that there are 2 plugs that come out of the dash harness on the drivers side but only one plug on the new engine harness(dont know if this is part of the problem).
All of the gauges come on with the gauge check but the fuel pump relay is not getting any power. Any help is appreciated, especially if you have an engine harness wiring diagram for an 87, or any idea of which pins in the computer may need to be switched or jumped.
Thanks in advance for any help.
