Anyone installed a TexasMustang "Classic Cruiser Humphugger Console"? Do they look good, or do they scream "AFTERMARKET!!!!!!!!" I need something down there on my 68 coupe tunnel.

Thanks!

Im not a big fan of humphuggers...

I personally would build a custom console and have a nice looking console with what you want where you want. If you can do any woodwork you can build a console. Just use some 1/4 plywood. Cover it in some thin foam and stretch some vynal over it. easy and can be beter than a humphugger

You need to find a way to secure the lid. Go down to the hardware store, and get a magnetic latch. Easy install. The cup holders are not huge, but hold most drinks unless you like to drive around with a Big Gulp. Then you'd have to put it between your legs.

They're pretty expensive for what you get. I ordered one and was disappointed when I got it. For the $ they want, I expected a much nicer piece.

Agreed. That's pretty much what I'll be doing.

Thanks folks, I appreciate the input. I'm pretty good at fabrication so I think I'll just design and build my own.

do the hump huggers go over the OG console, or do they go on the floor all by themselves?

To whoever was asking, this is the one I was thinking of buying, but I've definitely been talked out of it.

Here is the one I have in my fastback (I am saying good bye to her tonight, ). I really liked it, it matched the color of my interior very well, but you obviously cannot replace the original.

Personally, I don't like the humphuggers. I think they look really out of place. Plus, the ones I've seen where very cheaply made. They felt like a cardboard box wrapped in vinyl. Pretty flimsy.
