Yesterday I posted about a 93 cobra I found for sale, close to where I live, with a salvaged title. I got some great feedback and appreciated everyone's opinions.

Now I've found another one, black with grey leather interior, 136k miles, but with a CLEAN title. Some of the cons posted are 3rd gear will stick if you drive in it too long (sychros?), seats need re-done (will have to see how bad they are), some minor interior pieces missing and there are some paint scratches/chips and one small dent on quarter. Supposedly rust free and has some bolt on mods done to it with the OEM parts available to go with the car. One thing he mentioned was it has a steering wheel with cruise control but the car did not come with cruise from factory... this confused me b/c I assumed all cobras had cruise?

Anyway, I'd be interested to know based on this vague description, what you would value this car at? I'm trying to schedule a time to go see it after work today or tomorrow. Thanks for viewing!

Between $8,500 to $10k if your lucky to low ball them - w/o pictures or seeing condition - could be higher - make double sure it's a real one

Exactly ......take your time when making a purchase like this - if he tells you oh I've got ten people coming w/cash etc etc - or a guy made me a cash offer over the phone so you better buy it now - walk - .....something is fishy - I personally....would take the budget of $10k - and find a coupe or an lx vert with super low mileage - then dump that kind of money into a beaten modded up Cobra w/high miles - In TX - I almost bought a reef blue /w/white int / wht top - 5sp lx vert - he was only asking $9800 - had 23k on it - but get what you want -

I'd almost be willing to bet the one that was originally a Florida car was a flood damage. Which could mean electrical gremlins. I'd try to track the original owner down if you can.
