Holy hell! Best of fortune my friend. Goes without saying I hope no one you know was hurt. Aside from the coastal areas we got off light with this one. What area are you from?

Much appreciated, we made it through fairly unscathed. Tree here tree there, just hoping the power at my folks and sisters gets back on.

We had a lot more flooding then what was expected tho.

Hopefully Matthew's crazy ex Nicole stays away haha

Appreciate it, we were staying with family up towards Wayne County NC. We're down a coast 30 minutes from Atlantic beach.

You're a little further inland than I would have expected that type of damage. I spent a lot of time growing up on the outer banks. We were stationed at Cherry point, but given All the rivers and creeks in that area the ground is low. Damn man. Prayers.

Believe it or not Goldsboro and Kinston got it worst than Cherry Point. I was concerned for my house in the Croatan, but just a tree .

Outer Banks was under evacuation since Monday

We got email notifications on the 3rd that there was a voluntary evacuation. Thursday it was being enforced and Hwy 26 was closed for incoming but open for outgoing.

Where do you go to when you evacuate. Do they have safe housing away from storm path, that you and family can go to?
