Intalling the Hurst Shifter is very easy, it all goes back on the way it came off is the bottomline. The upper support shifter mechanism rod, rigid, goes to the drivers side of the transmission but to the right side of the aluminum threaded boss. The shifter linkage (one arm) goes back on the way the old one came off. Trickiest part is getting the old shifter out from the top and getting the hurst back down the console hole.
