I know that Brothers http://www.brothersperformance.com carries the Hurst, I got it there myself. Also, the install is a breeze. I did it in 20min. No problems at all.

It did take a little bit to break it, it was really tight at first. But, after that its perfect!

20 minutes? don't you have to get under the car as well? it will take me that long to get mine in the air, it is kind of low and my floor jack isn't a low profile one...so the crank jack is all i can use...

Yeah, I only jacked up one side (I'm little so I can get under there no problem). I also have a low profile jack, so that helps a lot.
But yeah, it only took about that time. The directions tell you what tools you need. I took them under the car with me, so I didn't have to get up again. It was done in a jiffy!

Hurst is now owned by B&M and I recently had a hard time finding anyone who would even order a Hurst shifter. Hell, even their online catalog is down. I talked to a couple guys I know at a local speed shop and they told me the B&M was a better shifter anyways, so that's what I got last week. Great shifter!

No I don't unfortunately, but like I said before, its super easy.

As long as your directions are dated 12/05 at the bottom you should be good to go. If they aren't, let me know and I will look in my file and see if I kept mine. The reason I say that is because for a while they had the wrong directions with the shifter and it was telling you to install it differently or something like that, I don't remember the whole story. But never the less, I would chack and make sure.

click the link in my signature for a write up. 20 minutes sounds pretty optimistic to me. should be about an hour if you take your time and read the instructions as you go.

might be a little faster with this write up, or if you use air tools.

great! thanks everybody, i am glad there is no buzzing. also, looking thru my new Jegs catalog today, i noticed they now sell a Hurst Billet Shifter, has the same handle and ball, just the mechanism is billet aluminum...but it is about $10-$20 more than the regular one

I just had the Hurst Short Throw shifter installed by my dealer yesterday, and its just great! I have an 07 GT with a little over 10.000 miles in the last 5 months.

I bought mine at brenspeed.com where I bought everything else for my car. I can highly recommend them as they are very helpfull, honest, and you can ask Brent the owner himself, any and all questions and he will make sure you are happy and understand everything.

Oh and so far, no funny noises or anything like that, it just has about half as much shift travel, and the shifts are solid and lock into place.
