Hurst Short Shifter Problems..

I just installed my Hurtst Billet Plus shifter in my 95GT 2 days ago...It seemed everything was working well until today it isvery loose and feels like there is a lot of play while it is in gear. It hasnt popped out of gear on me yet but that will probably happen next. It also rattles at high RPM which i also noticed today and tonight. What could be the problem guys??

check and make sure the rubber gasket it not squished out between the handle and the lower, and make sure those bolts are good and tight

Yea, sounds like the shifter lever is getting loose.

As quoted from mike at steeda when i talked to him about the offset shifter bracket(I was gonna put it on my stock shifter). The offset shifter bracket they make is for the hurst shifter espically because so many poeple have complained about noise and placement of the handle. Getting on of those would put that handle closer to you and get rid of your squeeking.
