Only I would think of something like this.

I dispise the 90-93 heater controls. One big negative about my black interior swap is that I needed to run them.

Well, do I? It looks like with a little trimming you could fit the larger 87-89 controls in place in a 90-93 dash. Anyone ever try?

I'm hesitant to start cutting up my dash until I could confirm. I could always do a test on my spare black dash.

It does look like I can trim and get this in there

The two bottom screw location almost line up. I think I could remove the brass retainers, drill 4 holes and install some speed clips and it would work. Problem is I need it to align with the bezel that slips over it.

Just thinking out loud here. Prob will never try it.

Dont you have any hot rodder inside you? Give it a try, and worst case scenario you need some of that PBA I used to make a bumper to put it back how it was.

Bro, you have front calipers on your car that say Corvette on them. If thats not a hack, I dont know what is! I bet you would make it look as factory as Ford did, and be glad you went out on a limb when its all said and done.

And whats another dash swap anyway?
