Apparently the late model 6cyl mustang uses a t5 tranny with a hydraulic t/o bearing, does anyone know if this bearing will work on all t5's it would make a hydraulic clutch conversion pretty simple and still would be ford stock parts
Indeed! I quick online parts search shows a listing for a "release bearing" for an '03, but the same search for an '05 shows a "slave Cylinder" for 05-07. Couldn't find a picture. THe releae bearing was $27 and the slave cylinder was $132
THat would make a GREAT way to get a hydralic releae bearing for half the price or less with 05-07 cars starting to show up in salvage yards.
