Anyone on the forums running a hydroboost setup ? I'm provably going to get a hydroboost setup out of an SN95 Mustang to use in my 67.
One of the things I noticed is that the mounting flange on the hydroboost units is turned 90 degrees. Is it ok to mount the hydroboost unit 90 degrees to one side or the other or do they need to be mounted at a specific angle ? I understand the MC needs to be angled a bit in order for the brake system to work properly, I'm not worried about acheiving the proper angle there, I know I can do that, I just want to make sure the booster can still function properly with a different orientation. The reason is, I want to use my SVO MC with the hydroboost unit, I HATE the way plastic tank resiviors look under the hood...
Any input on this would be great.
Edit:
Also, what other cars came with these units from the factory ? I'm thinking about junkyarding a unit.
