Hypergrounding?

i have grounding wires that drag off of my car, along the ground (as some motorcycles do). i feel like i have ~30 more HP. i am taking into account the additional drag created by the cables dragging along the ground, too!
the sparks are just a nice bonus.

do you think i could market this?

Yes but the target market would be 16~25 year old Honda owners that have allready bought some performance upgrades such as; Rear down force upgrade device (wing) and an enlarged Venturi effect exhaust tip (fart pipe).

while were on the subject of stupidity, did anyone see the guy who posted in the classifieds under power adders or maybe intake, he has a "special coating" for your engine what will add more horses then any power adder. lol.

when i did my port job, i allowed some sand into the TB. i simply allowed 'the suction' to do its thing. i dont know why you guys remove parts and do all of that work when it is unnecessary.

to incorporate something useful out of this, i was serious about motorcycles needing a ground strap. larger touring bikes often need one to keep the communications static-free (CB, etc).

having 12+ years experience working with British cars and Lucas ( Prince of Darkness) electrics, i can confirm that "Good Hyper?Grounds'" can increase performance. Age, wear and lack of proper grounding of "all" the electrical compenents degrade their performance below optimum level. a good rule of thumb would be to ck all the grounds (black wire on automotive, note!: black is live on home wiring). "all" includes connection from negative battery bterminal to chassis or body, fuel tank,trans,engine,dash and lights (front & rear) and ECU on EFI cars. these grounds must be to bare metal and adequate guage wire. i perfer to use a die-electric grease to delay future corrosion. the major problems with the older British cars were electrical and majority were ground related (lack of ground). after you ensure all electrical components have optimum grounds with a DVOM, then you will know they can operate to their maximum potential. The increase in performance will only equal the amount caused by the initial degradation in your entire system. there is no magic pill to secure more than 100% from optimum

I agree that a good grounding system can make more power. When the system has lessresistance, it takes less power to use accessories. Granted, it usually just gives you horsepower back that was there 10 years ago, meybe one or two more than that, it is nice. I grounded my stang using a set of old jumper cables. I bought good copper terminals and grounded several places. My origional ground was shot. I even idle better now. The head-battery ground is good because it allows better firing of the injectors and the spark plugs.

How about rephrasing that to...

Hypergrounding reclaims power that was lost due to inefficient electric circuits. It does not add power to an efficient grounded car.

We have a winner! That makes the utmost of sense, it's just silly to claim "power gains" and whatnot. I wonder how many people bought that. Anyone on here other than kstevusa had experience with them?
