I almost never drive my Mach in the rain either. For me, driving in crappy weather just takes all the fun out of a muscle car. I drive my Focus then.

i hate driving my stang in the rain, all the chitty rain water gets all over the side of the car and in the fender whells, especially here in florida, it is nothing but a sand pit, that $hit is like powder it gets in the water that splash all over the car

The only thing crazy is your thread title...lol...

Honestly I never drive my stang in the rain either...had one of my most memorable fishtails in the rain but mostly it's to keep her clean. There is nothing worse than a fresh detail that is ruined by it.

Yea if i had a beater i wouldn't either. I hate that everytime i wash my car it rains like the next day. I actually got to half ass wax it last weekend but the weather started rolling in on me. Next time its supposed to be nice around here for a while i'm definately detailing the crap out of it.

I drive mine in the rain all the time. With good rain tires they handle well. I've done 75MPH on the highway in pouring rain before with no probs.

I also drive in the snow.

And it's not like I don't care about my car either. If they had a car show for cars ONLY daily driven every day...i'd take first place.

For the last 2 years I drove in the rain and snow. I bought a 94 Jeep last month so I won't drive her in the rain or snow anymore.

mine wants to get loose unless i avoid boost @ all costs in the rain, i actually drive the speed limit when it does although decent tires make a difference for real!!

i drive my car rain sleet and snow. it sucks but i cant not have a mustang, and i cant afford another car.

i hate driving the stang in the snow, but this year i am going to get some winter wheels and tires.

but i do love the rain, unless i just washed my car. otherwise there is something about driving in the rain with the stang that i love.

i drive in the snow and rain. big deal. i CLEAN my car so i dont worry about the rain making it dirty. we have a clearcoat for a reason folks

if its not a collectable drive it. its not dangerous in the rain/snow either. its the driver that is the dangerous one. get good tires and youre fine

IMO Mustangs should be driven rain or shine unless it has drag radials/slicks. These cars aren't meant to be garage queens!

i drive mine in all weather. I have a truck that i dont care about but it gets crappy gas mileage and is not as easy to drive as my 5.0. So my 5.0 is my DD pretty much.

One thing though, where i go to college, if its going to snow half an inch they put 4 inches of salt down. Now i have rust spots poking up. Damn. That just might justify driving the truck next winter.

I have good tires though and rain is no problem. Snow is tricky but doable.

That's what I was thinking, its a mustang not $300k Ferrari (or even a $60k mercedes). I don't understand people who buy mustangs for driving on sunny days and weekends only even if you have $15k of money invested on it its still a mustang. Thats the fun part about driving my mustang, its my daily driver ...
