Maybe 600 RPM....for $24.99 I doubt you would get a buffer with that high of an RPM. I use a DeWalt variable speed, which goes up to 3000 RPM, which is higher than anyone should ever need. I usually stay at about 2200. Good luck with it, I would practice on someone else's car before you potentially swirl your own paint to hell.
