I recently got into the idea of doing suspension work to my car because
there is TONS of suspension parts I can buy and put in my car, and every year I can spend just a few hundred dollars to have some summer projects without breaking the bank.

This year I did the MM F/L subframes, and in the process of installing the MM Starter Kit with springs/shocks/struts/CC plates. Perhaps at the end of Summer I will do another suspension upgrade, then every year just do more.

Now my question is.... what should I do next? using the Maximum Motorsports Maximum Grip Package as my ultimate goal of where I want my suspension to be.... what order should I buy/install things to take the most advantage of the said parts?

Look at MM's Rear Grip Package, includes their LCA's and Panhard Bar. Look at their Steering Shaft as well, and be sure to replace two more things regardless of what else you are doing to the suspension, Rack Bushings and your uppers with the Ford Racing pieces.

Is it a street car or track-only machine? Because at the end of the day, the "total race suspension" isn't very comfortable to drive through potholes or up driveways or over speedbumps. Much less on long trips. I'm not sure how much I desire a twitchy, clanky, rattling car that scrapes over tiny bumps and bottoms out the shocks over the crosswalk lines, even if some shop runs the same parts in a stripped out full-cage racecar.

I'd just stiffen up the chasis with subframes, buy a set of Bilsteins, and maybe B springs. New factory bushings depending on the mileage/age of the car. "Race" suspension parts usually come with a NVH cost. Really stiff "race" springs definitely do. Stiff shocks that don't have different valving for slow and fast compression make the car silly rough to daily drive. (Ideally the shock would be stiff for slow compressions like body roll and road dips but soft when it comes to potholes.) JMHO.

Well its a weekend warrior, and like I said its an affordable option because you dont have to spend thousands up front.

The only thing I can see, that I dont really want is the torque arm, specifically because it will hit everything as I drive.

After some more research, I think what I want to get next are the following.
Panhard Bar, Strut Tower Brace, 4-point K-member Brace, then LCA's.

But I would be totally interested in peoples opinion who deal with Mustang suspension

I would start with LCA's then Torque are then car from there...

theres gonna be a lot of dont buy the STB for this reason on here and i dont want to stir up that debate again but both our AI cars are not equipped with them.....just sayin...

are you going for an all out handling car in the future? or just something fun to play with?

also since you went with springs instead of coilovers, you can get the tubular k and reuse your stock a arms and get the swaybar relocation kit and new swaybar bushings
