I went to the track tonight was doing awsome, was pulling 9.08s on street tires, went to make my last run and pulled an awsome reaction .505, I hit it hard went to shift to 2nd gear, and nothing, my car is stuck in 1st gear, I dont know what kinda power this thing is making but either new trans to hold it or a new trans in my car, I need all info I can get. I can put it in 3rd thru 5th and reverse, but it wont move cause it is stuck in 1ST, feels like possible roll pin broke in shift fork

I can't get it up......ok that didn't sound right.

Thats a good run for a 96 GT with just bolt-ons. As for the transmission, I dont know what to tell you since I'm an auto guy and not a five speed guy. Might want to look into getting an aftermarket shifter though since your going to have to pull the stocker anyway.

Dont know what to tell you as far as the transmission. A similiar problem happened to the guy that I sold my Probe GT to. The tranny was crap when he bought it and he knew it. But that same day when he was almost home, the tranny locked up in second. The shift 'gate' had come loose and wedged itself into whatever gear it wanted lol. Hope you dont have that kinda problem. Hope its somethin easy. Did the 70mm T/B make any difference to you?

Sorry, didnt see it in your signature. As for the transmission, I dont know what to tell you. Go to www.modulardepot.com There are more experts who hang out there than here when it comes to things like this.

sorry to hear it. I blew up my clutch once missing 3rd gear, and I was able to change gears only w/ the car not running. I drove it to the dealer in second -
