I broke the tires loose on my 2.3 auto...

used to have burnout pictures of the 2.3 I gave to my gf doing a burnout. Actually spinning both tires!! It was an auto also.

I can break the tires loose on my A4ld from a roll.
I can only do it on those streets that are worn smooth from traffic, but it is so great punching the gas at 20 hearing the turbo spool, and fishtailing all the way to 55mph where it finally gets traction in 2nd.
I'm not kidding either. I have nothing off the line unless I brake torque it, but when the turbo spools up and I get to the opperating range of the cam, it pulls pretty well.
